IFC Spring 2026 Recruitment Information!

You MUST upload a copy of your transcript from Testudo showing you have a 2.5 cumulative GPA. If this is your first semester at the University of Maryland, you must upload a transcript from your previous institution (high school or transfer college) showing you have a minimum 2.5 GPA.  Please login to Campus Director and upload your most recent transcript to your PNM profile.  Alternatively, you may email your transcript to mtullier@umd.edu.  The transcript must be uploaded or submitted by February 12th at 11:59 pm.

Each new member is required to attend an FSL 101 Session

January 26th: First day of classes 
January 28th: Meet the IFC 
February 2nd: Recruitment Events begin 
February 16th: Bids must be accepted in Campus Director

*PNM = Potential New Member, this is what we call the men going through recruitment

Bid Extensions
Chapters may begin extending bids to potential new members on Friday, February 8th. Chapters are not allowed to extend invitations (of any kind) of membership prior to this date. Potential new members should not be pressured to accept invitations any time before this date. Potential new members should be given the maximum amount of time to make a well-reasoned, thoughtful, and low-pressure decision about lifetime membership in any of the Interfraternity Council organizations.
